Rental Agent (North Hollywood)

camadeus Film Technologies sells and rents innovative film equipment, characterized through leading-edge technology and high quality. We are a young and dynamic company, focused on 3D tools and partnering with high-profile partners such as cmotion, Panther and Screenplane.

At our office in North Hollywood, we are currently searching for a Rental Agent that joins our excellent and motivated team. We are looking for an individual who shares the passion for our products and likes to present, rent and support our partner’s products in a professional manner.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Handling of client rental requests
- Presentation of products to clients
- Check-in of rental returns
- Administration of missing and damaged rental items
- Testing and cleaning of equipment, filters, cables etc
- Maintenance and repair of products (to a serviceable degree)
- Prepping rental items for check-out
- Inventory management
- Pick-ups and deliveries

Requirements for the successful applicant:

- motivation and passion to work with hi-tech film equipment
- willingness to learn and ability to quickly adapt to new products and its features
- excellent team player and customer service driven
- precise working and appreciation for equipment
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multitask and excel in a fast paced, team environment

Ideally, the following skills would enable a quick start:

- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose, adjust and repair equipment
- Experience with PC/ Macintosh and with MS office, email, internet wanted

- Experience with operation and the various components of professional film and video gear
- Up to date driver’s license, good driving record and experience driving a cargo van

This is a full time position. Flexibility with hours will be required (generally with timely previous notice).

Rental House IT Intern (North Hollywood)

camadeus Film Technologies sells and rents innovative film equipment, characterized through leading-edge technology and high quality. We are a young and dynamic company, focused on 3D tools and partnering with high-profile partners such as cmotion, Panther and Screenplane.

We are currently looking for interns that would like to join our team between July-September 2010 for 6-12 weeks.

Duties of intern – IT support include:

• Web and Internet programming capabilities (HTML, ideally Flash and PHP or similar)
• MS Office / Excel and Access skills, ideally also including VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
• Any IT infrastructure skills appreciated (server setup, VoIP, VPN,…)
• Filing and data entry as needed

Requirements:

• Positive and energetic personality
• precise working and appreciation for equipment
• Strong interest in film equipment
• Reliable transportation
• Computer skills
